Backgrounds

Tap a style to add it at the playhead, then make it yours in Details.
Talking characters 0 lines
Pick a character, type what they say, press Speak. The voice is made on our server (about five seconds); the character talks on your video from the playhead.
Narration is added to the C1 track with its sound; drag the character on the picture to move it.
Pick a song or a recording you imported and the character moves its mouth to it, from the playhead.
Music
Your own song: import it on the Media tab and tap it.
Stickers
Tap a sticker to drop it at the playhead for 3 seconds, or drag it onto the title track. Move and resize it in Details.
Transitions
Tap one to set how the selected clip goes into the next.
Looks & effects
One look for the whole film. Dial its strength per clip in Details.
LookyBox brand
The LookyBox opening and closing every film gets, plus the “own it” sounds. Sounds land at the playhead on the A1 track.
Start with the ground.
Layer 1 is a background, photo or video. Then pictures, stickers and text go on top, then characters, then music.
Tap a clip or a title on the timeline to edit it here. Drag clips to reorder, drag their edges to trim.
Tip: hold Shift and drag it on the picture to spin it by hand.
Any picture from your media — a box art, a screenshot, a background you generated.
Import videos, pictures and sounds on the Media tab (or record from your camera), tap each one to put it on the timeline. Drag a clip to reorder it, drag its edges to trim, or use the buttons in Details. Split at the playhead, cut away the left or right part, speed clips up or slow them down, choose how each one goes into the next (cut, cross-fade, fade through black or white, wipe), fit or fill the frame, zoom and push in slowly, turn phone videos the right way up, and adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and warmth per clip. Add titles in six styles and emoji stickers, pick a look for the film, choose 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, add music, and press Export: your browser plays the timeline once and records a real video file, so an export takes as long as the video is. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Undo is unlimited within a session. ⚡ Draft previews at half size while you edit; exports are always full size.

Project files. Save file keeps your edit as a small file without the media. Load it later, add the same media files again, and every clip snaps back into place; missing ones show as grey placeholders until you add them. The last edit is also kept on this device ("Recover last edit").
Editable draft (beta). Downloads a zip with a draft folder, built for a popular video editor's draft format. Unzip it into that editor's drafts folder, copy your media files into that folder, open it there and relink the media if it asks. Cuts, order, speed, volume, zoom, position, rotation and titles carry over; looks and transitions are rebuilt there.
